Web3 Builders is a Smart Contract/NFT Trust and Security Startup (Stealth) 

We are looking for an afterhours/weekend Discord Moderator who wants to use their skills and experience to build a community working towards making Web3 transactions safer for all humans.

You will assist with after hour coverage for our community, guide and moderate conversations, and make our platform known for its informative and friendly members by fostering good online etiquette. You will have a user-centered conversational approach through our Discord to promote, facilitate adoption, and improve experiences. We want to enable our users to share data in a delightful, easy-to-use, privacy-preserving way.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor, moderate and manage community discussions and sentiment on Discord and help build a healthy community.

• Protect the community from bots, shills, FUD, and other malicious interactions and actors.

• Assist, monitor, and provide feedback on all audio/visual tech.

• Research and implementation of technologies to enhance user experience.

• Respond to comments and community member queries in a timely manner.

• Assist with developing processes for onboarding new members to the community.

• Constantly learn, research, and experiment with new community-building ideas. 

• Assist in virtual event organization, management, and execution to build community and boost brand awareness.

• Work with our team to improve the server and community experience and increase engagement and activity throughout the server.

• Enforce the rules of the server.

What You Bring

• 2+ years experience as Discord Admin/Mod or a similar role is highly preferred, but we are open to talented applicants of all experience levels.

• You have basic graphic design and photo editing skills and the ability to create high-quality branded content.

• Direct experience managing Discords with over 1K+ members. You are comfortable with and have experience with the integration of Discord bots.

• Demonstrable experience detecting and mitigating spam and other online vulnerabilities. You have phenomenal decision-making skills and an eye for detail.

• Capable of reviewing sensitive and potentially disturbing content, including but not limited to vulgar language, violent or hateful speech, indecent and other graphic images.

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities. You know how to manage large audiences and grow online communities.

• Adaptability, as conversations can shift quickly and some topics require more moderation, while it is also essential to let them flow as naturally as possible.

• Engagement skills include keeping an audience organically involved and focusing on a topic.

Bonus points

• You have a working knowledge of Blockchains, Web3, NFTs, metaverse, crypto space-specific language, and a basic understanding of meme culture.

• You are enthusiastic about blockchains, Web3, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and smart contracts.
